The client is an online grocery marketplace who partners with leading retailers to deliver groceries via a community of shoppers and a convenient app. Since its founding in 2014 it now offers personalized grocery delivery to over 25 million households in 51 markets across the country. The company currently has offices in Birmingham, AL, and San Francisco, CA.

Contribute to the development of a shopping/Ecommerce product to ensure that the journey is smooth for the customer. There is no need for any Ecommerce of related experience. The team is composed of 16 people and the need to have 2 new contractors to take on the roles.


We are looking for a Golang Engineer with exp. developing Java to join our team of growing Engineers and contribute to the development and completion of a shopping/Ecommerce product. The goal is to ensure that the journey is smooth for the customer


Requirements:

  • Upper - Intermediate English
  • Golang experience
  • +5 years of exp. with Java
  • Elastic Search / Solr
  • Kafka

Nice to have skills:

  • AWS/GCP - knowledge as a configuration level
  • Airflow/Kubeflow - knowledge as a configuration level
  • DOcker/K8s - knowledge as a configuration level
  • Excellent communication skills

Place of work: LatAm Only.

Contract type: Full time - Contractor

Salary: Up to $5000 - $7000 USD
